Canadian Fishing Maps, Lake Charts and Topographic Maps for Northwest Ontario

Are you looking for a Canadian Fishing Map or lake chart? A topographic map for your canoe or hunting trip? Do you need a road map of Ontario? If the answer is yes then we can help you find what you're looking for. Ontario's Sunset Country Travel Association has created this website to assist visitors find the navigation aids they need when visiting our region.

As an official supplier, we can help you first identify the type of map that best suits your needs and then locate the actual sheet you require for the area you'll be visiting. There are a wide variety of scales and views available to help make your Canadian fishing, hunting, or outdoor adventure a success. Many of the major lakes have angling maps which identify major bottom structure and water depths. These maps are ideal for the angler who is unfamiliar with the lake they are fishing. Please note that angling maps are available for a limited number of lakes in Northwest Ontario.

Topographic maps are available for anywhere in Northwestern Ontario at scales of 1:250,000 and 1:50,000. For many of our more remote lakes, a topographic map is all that's available. While these maps do not show water depths, they do show excellent shoreline detail, exposed reefs and detailed land contours. These maps have latitude and longitude on them allowing you to pinpoint favourite holes and navigation hazards with your GPS unit. Topographic maps are also excellent tools for the hunter looking for the best spots to find the game they're after or the canoeist looking to map out the various legs of their wilderness canoe trip.

Hydrographic charts are available for Rainy Lake, Lake of the Woods and the Winnipeg River System. These charts provide important information such as lake depths, boating paths and navigation hazards for anglers and boaters. Official Ontario highway maps are available at no charge. Our most popular map is the wall-sized area map showing the entire Sunset Country Travel Region - a 60,000 square mile chunk of Ontario. This map is included with our annual Summer Adventure Guide and shows detailed geography, lakes and roads. The map also shows the actual location of over 300 lodges resorts and outpost cabins - see where you'll be fishing!
