Ontario Topographical Maps

National Topographic Service (NTS) Maps are available for any region of Ontario. The maps come in scales of 1:50,000 and 1:250,000. For many people fishing in Northwestern Ontario, the only maps available for the lake you'll be on are topographic maps. While these maps do not show water depths, the 1:50,000 scale maps show excellent shoreline detail, islands and exposed reefs. The maps are critical for navigation on some of the larger lakes in Sunset Country. Use them to plan out your daily fishing excursions. These maps show detailed land elevation contours and are ideal for the hunter or canoeist.
